About the Presenter:
Abraham Sleem, M.D. graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. John's University in Queens, NY with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Computer Science. There he earned the Presidential Scholarship Award and was president of the student branch of the American Chemical Society. He graduated at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he was awarded a research scholarship for glaucoma research with Janet Serle, M.D. He did his transitional internship at Maimonides Medical Center in his hometown of Brooklyn, NY. He is currently the Ophthalmology Chief Resident at Albany Medical Center and is on track to graduate from residency in June 2010. He is matched for a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship with Robert Schultze, M.D. and Robert Eden, M.D. at Albany Medical Center.
